Business Unit Head CVRM – Norway

As part of an organizational realignment, we are recruiting for a newly created Business Unit Head, Cardio- vascular, metabolism and Renal (BU Head CVRM). As part of the Norwegian Country Leadership team, you are accountable for managing the overall CVRM portfolio, sales and marketing operations within Norway. You lead the brand strategic and operational plans to achieve the national sales targets, sales activity cost targets and sales activity levels both short- and long-term financial objectives. This role is based in our Oslo office and reports to the Norway Country Director.
What you’ll do
- Accountable for delivering sales and contribution targets to deliver P&L for the Biopharma Business Unit (BBU)
- Translates global strategies and long-term vision for CVRM portfolios into a highly effective country plan
- Develops local strategies based on an understanding of TA ecosystems, patient journeys, customer and payer need to lead the BBU, deliver success across the portfolio and maximize new growth opportunities
- Transforms the business and organization to fit the demands of the customers and patients to deliver on ways of working with Strategic Account Managers to become omnichannel and virtual champions
- Ensures excellence in execution of the local plans, analyzing, anticipating, and shaping marketplace changes
- Provides insight and direction across the portfolio to ensure that all launches and line extensions are authoritatively led to deliver success
- Encourages the team to develop and utilize patient and customer insights, challenging and innovating within their own roles and the wider AZ environment
- Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare professionals, payors and patient groups
- Responsible for building, leading and developing high performing, dynamic teams
Essential Criteria
- Previous in-market experience of sales and marketing management leadership with in-depth experience in commercial roles
- Previous experience of P&L management for TA or BU with strong understanding of financial processes
- Proven success in launching products into competitive environments
- Hands-on experience in both primary and secondary care sales and marketing
- Strong understanding of local healthcare systems including pricing, tendering and reimbursement and overall market access process including health economics
- Excellent leadership capabilities, with experience leading teams through managers and having a track record of building high performing teams
- Good knowledge in market ethical rules
- Master’s Degree or equivalent, in Life Science or Business
- Fluent English Language skills
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in Biologics and other Therapeutic areas
- Experience in the CVRM space and with relevant specialists in the field
- Good understanding of Account Planning, Account working and Customer Engagement program and processes
